Xtreme Turf Premier - Sample

PRODUCT FEATURES
Xtreme Turf Premier is designed for top Football/Soccer/Baseball use and consists of a polyethylene monofilament fiber that is ultra-soft and tufted on a reinforced backing. The system is installed over a suitable substrate provided by the buyer in accordance with designs and specifications recommended by ACT Global Sports.
True PE monofilament grass fibers
- 150 mircron fiber thickness for greater durability
- 50% thicker than slit film, mono tape or parallel cut tape products
• 10,000 denier fiber – 25% more density per stitch than many products
• Low glare technology – reduces light reflection to the athletes, fans and TV
• High fiber memory – fibers will stand up longer
• Increased resistance to UV for excellent color retention and durability
• Appears more like natural grass
• Improvements in softness for lower skin abrasion
Complete system engineering (combination of grass fibers, infill combination and turf construction)
• Reduced skin interaction with infill while enhancing foot traction
• Excellent foot stability and energy restitution to reduce fatigue and joint strain
• Long term shock absorption through reduced compaction problems
• True dimensional stability so turf does not move underfoot
Beyond standard fabric testing to achieve higher performance standards
• Lab tested according to the FIFA quality and biomechanical standards
• UEFA certification
• Complete ASTM testing
• Meets Royal Dutch Football Federation norms
• Designed in ISO 9001/ISO 14000 certified plant
• High quality manufacturing with numerous quality checks prior to shipment
• Quality maintenance program based on facts – important for long-term performance & durability
Proven by independent labs to meet athletic performance of natural grass
• Tested before and after heavy wear
• Vertical deformation (foot stability)
• Rotational resistance (traction)
• Shock absorption
• Shoe Friction
• Skin to Surface Friction
• Skin abrasion
• Vertical and angled ball rebound
• Ball roll consistency
• Over 50 independent lab tests and checks

FIBER QUALITY AND DURABILITY TESTS
The Xtreme Turf fibers are produced with high quality polyethylene resins from Dow
Chemical plus highly UV stabilizers. The quality is assured through independent lab
testing conducted at Labosport, according to the FIFA quality lab standards. Labosport is
certified by FIFA to conduct tests according to the FIFA standards. Here are the tests
performed on the fibers:
Mean Specified Passes
Property Test method Result Range FIFA 2-star lab
Effects of artificial weathering (FIFA 11/05-01)
Pile yarn colour change EN ISO 20105-A02 4 >= Grey Scale 3 YES
Pile yarn change in tensile strength EN 13864 -25.4 <= 50% change YES
Other
Skin / Surface Friction FIFA 08/05-02 0.65 0.35 to 0.75 YES
Skin abrasion FIFA 09/05-02 + 10% +/- 30% YES
Frequent research, testing and inspection of the synthetic turf are crucial to a properly executed Total Quality Management program. Although two synthetic turf products can look similar after production, independent lab torture-testing can show the differences between a quality-engineered system such as Xtreme Turf versus other known products in the market Xtreme Turf fibers produced with quality Dow PE resins Other turf product showing early wear
